Surah Yaseen and Al-Waqiah

Question: What are the Hadiths regarding the virtues of reciting Surah Al-Waqiah in the night and Surah Yaseen in the morning? In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

Regarding reading Surah Yaseen in the morning:

Translation: Ataa Ibn Abi Rabah narrates, “It has reached me that the Prophet (SAW) said, ‘Whoever reads Surah Yaseen at the beginning of the day, his necessities will be fulfilled.’” (Sunan Darimi: Hadith 3461)

Regarding reading Surah Al-Waqiah in the night:

Translation: Ibn Masood (RA) narrates that Rasulullah (SAW) said, “Whoever reads Surah Al-Waqiah every night, he will not be afflicted by poverty.” Ibn Masood (RA) would command his daughters to read it (Surah Al-Waqiah) every night. (Shuabul Iman: Hadith 2269)
