Blood on socks

Question

1) I cut myself just above my heel the other day. When I put a plaster on for a few hours, I see blood on the plaster after removing it. I understand in this case, wudu would need to be renewed for each Salah.

2) My question is, if I were to wear socks and no plaster, and there will be a chance blood may go onto my socks (it will only be a small amount), how much blood would have to be on to make the socks impure. Or will any drop of blood on the garment make it impure?

Answer

1) The blood that flows out of the wound invalidates the wudu. Kindly refer to the following link to ascertain if you qualify as a mazoor (an excused person) or not: http://daruliftabirmingham.co.uk/questions-on-being-a-mazoor-2/

2) Any amount of blood that flows out of a wound is considered impure even if it is little. Hence, it would proportionally render the plaster and sock impure.
