Question
If a Hafiz (male) leads Taraweeh prayer at home, would it be permissible for a Hafiza (female) who is a mahram (e.g. sister) to correct him should he make a mistake?

Yes, it is permissible for a Hafiza to correct the Imam who is her mahram. However, if there are strange men in the congregation (non-mahrams with whom marriage is valid), it would not be appropriate for her to correct the Imam due to the possibility of *fitna *(i.e. the men becoming attracted to her voice, etc.).1
