In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Fasting six optional fasts in the month of Shawwal has a lot of virtue. It is narrated in a Hadith that the Prophet (s.a.w.) said:
Translation: “Whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan, then he follows it up with six fasts of Shawwal, it is as if he has fasted for an entire year.” (Muslim: Hadith 1164)
